Who is Julia?
Julia is our solicitor extraordinaire taking on a range of areas, including buying and selling property, relationship property, making a will and enduring powers of attorney. She gets a lot of satisfaction in assisting her clients and the results she achieves for them.
Completing her LLB at the University of Waikato, Julia was admitted to the Bar in 2013 and since then has enjoyed learning new things every day and working with the partners of Webster Malcolm to help solve problems for their clients.
The Best Part of the Job
“I like acting for people to achieve something they otherwise couldn’t. It may be something little you can do for a client that goes a long way and is appreciated – an everyday task for me can make all the difference to someone else. I especially enjoy making new members of the community feel comfortable – i.e. helping a couple new to NZ buy a home who have no idea what to expect and need a little extra guidance”.
Julia finds law rewarding because when a case comes to an end, she can provide her clients with a degree of certainty and closure, allowing them to move on to the next phase of their life.
Julie plays netball for the Warkworth Club as well as summer soccer and maintains strong ties to Mahurangi College, going along to most performances, fundraisers and speaking to senior students about becoming a lawyer.
